Brave Search

OpenDeepSearch is an open-source alternative to Perplexity Deep Research that implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for comprehensive web research. It provides tools for breaking down complex questions into sub-questions, performing web searches via the Brave Search API, analyzing search results, and synthesizing findings into coherent reports. The implementation includes three main MCP tools: brave_web_search for general queries, brave_local_search for location-based information, and deep_research for orchestrating multi-step research workflows, making it ideal for academic research, complex inquiries, and topics requiring synthesis from multiple sources.
